This may be 'the one'

Kicked to the curb.

Kicked to the curb.

A new phone this weekend means goodbye to an old friend. We had good times, old phone, but we started losing energy together. More and more, you had a 'low battery' or not enough 'storage space' for me and my life. I've now found another that's younger, prettier and can go on all night.

I hereby introduce my new life companion. A steadfast partner for the time ahead. New phone, I promise to focus on you most at cafes, even if I'm having coffee with someone else, and at playgrounds, when I should be watching the kids better. I'll use you to store even more contact details of people I've lost touch with and to send even more messages apologizing for being late. New phone: you complete me.

In fact, this time I'm really smitten. I think this may be 'the one'. I don't think I'm going to look at another new phone for like a good six months. Or at least through the weekend. Not a glance.
