American football is apparently one of the fastest growing sports in Sweden. A half-decade ago, the women's national team took out an ad inviting anyone in the entire country to try out for the squad. It was that hard to find players. There was a crowd, a group of cheerleaders, a beer garden, a halftime show, and a row of food trucks.
The game of football is going through tough times. There are scandals at the professional level in the US and health concerns for all players on the gridiron.
