I try not to overdo Sweden. I limit how much I get into the language, culture, politics etc. here so I don't burn out. My engagement in the Swedish side of life is 'lagom', a word meaning 'not too much and not too little'. And then there's midsummer. On midsummer, I'm all in. I will do what it takes to spend that day outdoors. I will eat that raw herring on the midsummer lunch table. I will hop like a frog around that midsummer pole. It's my least 'lagom' day of the year.
